On April 25, 1997 we purchased six sets of the Bristol Swing ‘n’ Slide windows. Over the Years they have served us very well. Each slider is approximately four-and one-half foot tall by three foot wide. They are easy to slide and fold inward to clean the outside from the inside. On Aug. 10, 2020 we experienced a derecho in our city that clocked 140 mph, and lasted for 40 minutes. The wind came directly toward four pair. On one set the locks broke and let the windows be pushed inward to the house. I got them back in place and rigged a temporary lock to hold them in. Amazingly, there was no broken glass and no damage to the frames. When I called customer service, they knew exactly what I needed and shipped them to me, along with an instruction sheet. They were easy to install needing only a screwdriver. I did it myself with no need for an expensive window repair man. I recommend them very highly. I have told many people that I wouldn’t use any other brand.
